神戸・三宮から少し離れたエリアに構える、私たちのオフィス兼物販アトリエ。
建築やデザイン事務所といえば、テナントビルの一室に構えているイメージが強く、敷居の高さを感じさせることも少なくありません。
だからこそ、誰でも立ち寄れる開放的な雰囲気を求め、あえて道路に面した1階の区画を選びました。
周囲にはスケートパークを備えた「みなとの森公園」や安藤忠雄建築の「こども本の森」、そして新しい都市文化を象徴する水族館「atoa」などがあり、街の成長を肌で感じられる場所です。
内装デザインだけでなく、ものづくりにも取り組むようになったことをきっかけに、従来のオフィスから移転。
約11坪の空間を全面改装し、オフィスとアトリエをひとつにしました。
私たちのデザインの軸であるモルタルを空間全体に用いることで、オフィス自体がサンプルルームとなり、訪れるお客様に素材の質感や仕上がりを直接体感していただける場となっています。
空間は壁や天井の素材、床や照明の色合いでゆるやかにゾーニング。
奥の壁にはステンレス板を、その他の面はコンクリートとモルタルで構成しました。
デスクは自らデザインし、広々と使えるモルタル製。インダストリアルな照明を加えることで、無機質でありながらも落ち着きのある空気感を演出しました。
アトリエの床にはドイツ製モルタル材のホワイトを採用。
土足の空間に白を選ぶことは珍しいですが、自社だからこそ実験的な挑戦が可能です。
さらに壁から天井へと巡る造作棚には、サンプルや制作物をディスプレイ。見た目は自由に見えて、実は一定のルールに基づく寸法設計により、自然な調和を保っています。
オフィスは日々の大半を過ごす場所だからこそ、快適で働きやすく、同時に刺激を与えてくれる環境であるべきです。
整然としすぎた空間ではなく、個性やアイデンティティを反映させたデザインこそが、生産性やモチベーションを高め、訪れる人の期待感をも育む。
私たちはそう考えています。プライドを持って仕事に臨める場所づくりを通して、デザインの力で仕事の質をさらに高めていきます。

Our office and atelier are located on the first floor of a three-story building, just a short distance from the center of Kobe Sannomiya. Unlike many architectural and design firms that are tucked away in upper-floor offices and often feel somewhat closed-off, we wanted to create an open and approachable atmosphere.
That is why we chose a ground-floor space facing the street. The neighborhood is alive with culture and growth, with Minato no Mori Park and its skate park nearby, Tadao Ando’s “Kodomo Hon no Mori,” and the new urban landmark aquarium “atoa.”
As our work expanded from interior design into making products, our previous office became too small. We relocated to a 43m² space, fully renovating it into a combined office and atelier. Using mortar—our signature material—as the foundation of the design, the office itself now functions as a sample room, allowing clients to experience the texture and finish firsthand.
The space is loosely zoned with changes in wall materials, flooring, and lighting. A stainless steel wall anchors the office, while other surfaces feature exposed concrete and mortar. The worktable, designed and crafted in-house from mortar, provides ample room for spreading out drawings and materials.
Industrial lighting enhances the raw, minimal atmosphere, striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Interior design studio the atelier, we selected white-toned German mortar for the flooring—an unconventional choice for a shoe-on area.
But precisely because it’s our own space, we can experiment and bring new ideas to life. Surrounding shelving wraps from wall to ceiling, displaying samples and creations. Though it appears casually arranged, the shelves are built on precise dimensions, creating a natural sense of harmony.
We believe an office should be more than a clean, orderly place. It should reflect the identity and passion of the people who work there, fostering comfort, motivation, and inspiration. By designing spaces that elevate both productivity and spirit, we aim to create environments where pride in one’s work translates into quality results. This is the essence of our approach to design.
