「Slow Life」は、イタリア産ワインとともに気軽に楽しめるカジュアルイタリアンとして、西宮市に誕生しました。
11席のみのカウンターで構成された小さな空間は、シンプルながらも素材の質感とディテールにこだわり、心地よさを徹底して追求しています。
中心となるカウンターは、数字の「1」をかたどった特別なデザイン。
地域で“一番居心地が良く、美味しい店であること”を象徴する存在です。
素材にはスペイン産のモルタルを採用し、滑らかさと手仕事の温もりを併せ持つ仕上げに。
力強い形状と堅牢な質感が調和し、訪れる人を包み込むように迎え入れます。
空間全体は落ち着いた生成色でまとめ、過度な装飾を排したミニマルな構成に。
床はモルタル土間で仕上げ、カウンターと一体感を演出。アンティーク調の木製ファサードに真鍮の取手や蝶番を組み合わせ、時を重ねるほどに深まる風合いを意識しました。
壁面を彩るのは、職人の手仕事によるアフリカンプレート。
それぞれ異なる表情が、空間に温かみと異文化のエッセンスを添えています。照明は必要最小限に抑え、ダウンライトで陰影をコントロール。
特にプレートを照らすユニバーサルライトが、アートとしての存在感を際立たせます。
さらに「1」の形を強調する大きな面には、海外製の籐編みペンダントを吊るし、柔らかい光で空間を優しく包み込みました。
「Slow Life」は、華美な装飾ではなく、素材と光の表情を最大限に生かしたデザインが魅力です。
カウンターに座り、ワインを片手に過ごす時間の中で、日常を忘れ“スローライフ”を味わえる。この場所が、訪れる人の記憶に深く残る存在となることを願っています。

“Slow Life” opened as a casual Italian restaurant where guests can enjoy authentic Italian wines in a relaxed atmosphere. The space consists of just 11 counter seats, designed with simplicity yet crafted with attention to texture, detail, and comfort.
At the heart of the design is a counter shaped like the number “1,” symbolizing the owner’s vision of becoming the “No.1 most comfortable and delicious spot in the neighborhood.” Crafted with Spanish mortar, its finish combines smoothness with the warmth of handwork, creating a powerful yet inviting presence.
The interior is finished in a soft off-white tone, keeping the atmosphere minimal and warm. The mortar flooring flows naturally into the counter, while the antique-style wooden façade with brass handles and hinges is designed to age gracefully with time.
Adding warmth and character, four handmade African plates adorn the wall, each with its own unique expression. Lighting is kept to a minimum, using downlights to control shadows and highlight the plates as works of art. Above the wide surface of the “1”-shaped counter, a rattan pendant lamp from overseas adds a gentle, natural accent.
Rather than ornate decoration, “Slow Life” celebrates the beauty of raw materials and the play of light. Sitting at the counter with a glass of wine, guests are invited to slow down and embrace the essence of its name. This intimate space is designed to remain in the memory of all who visit.
