築46年のマンション住戸をリノベーションした本計画。
舞台は尼崎市、最上階の南東角部屋。高層建築物に遮られることなく、光と風、そして眺望を享受できるポテンシャルを備えた住戸でした。
クライアントの想いは「家族構成や生活スタイルの変化を機に、人生を整理し、新しい暮らしを始めたい」というもの。不要なものを手放し、本当に必要なものだけを残す“ミニマルな住まい”をテーマに設計を進めました。
そこから導き出されたのは、収納の容量や配置といった具体的な寸法や機能。
ライフスタイルを丁寧にヒアリングすることで、最適解を形にしていきました。
ダイニングにはヴィンテージ家具を配置し、それに呼応する造作家具やテーブルをデザイン。
リビングはネイビーとホワイトの色彩効果で広がりを演出し、グレーや黒のアイテムを添えて落ち着きと統一感を持たせました。
普段使いに便利なミニクロークも備え、施主からは「出勤前の準備がここで完結できて本当に快適」と好評をいただいています。
ベッドルームは、壁と天井を珪藻土で統一し、ヘッドボードには特注色の珪藻土を採用。
真鍮の照明と間接照明を組み合わせ、ホテルライクな非日常を演出しました。
床には土間から着想を得たカーペットを敷き、木や自然素材に触れながら眠れる空間へ。
限られた予算の中で、キッチンやトイレは配置を変えずに既存を活かしつつ意匠でアップデート。
キッチンはアーチ状の開口をモルタルで仕上げた洞窟のようなデザインに、トイレは真鍮のアイテムで統一し、大理石調の床材と合わせて清潔感ある上質な空間に仕上げています。
ベッドルームとダイニングを繋ぐ一体的な設計により、光が回り込み、日中は照明いらずの明るさを確保。
素材や寸法、色彩の調和を通じて、心地よさと機能性が共存する空間が完成しました。
私たちは「限られた空間にどれだけ潜在力を見出し、暮らしに寄り添った最適解を導けるか」が設計の鍵だと考えています。
この住まいもまた、その答えを体現した一例です。

This project is the renovation of a 46-year-old reinforced concrete apartment unit in Amagasaki. Located on the top southeast corner, the residence enjoys unobstructed views, natural light, and refreshing breezes—potentials we sought to maximize.
The client’s wish was to “reset life after changes in family and lifestyle, and begin a new way of living.” With this in mind, we pursued a minimal home that keeps only what is truly essential. Careful discussions led us to define the exact storage capacity, placement, and dimensions needed for a comfortable daily life.
The dining area combines vintage furniture with custom-made pieces, including a table that links naturally with the kitchen. In the living room, a palette of navy and white creates openness, while accents of gray and black bring balance and cohesion. A small cloakroom offers everyday convenience, praised by the client for making morning routines seamless.
The bedroom features walls and ceilings finished in diatomaceous earth, with a custom-colored accent wall behind the bed. Brass lighting and adjustable indirect lights add a touch of hotel-like luxury, while flooring inspired by earthen floors enhances the sense of natural calm.
Within a limited budget, the kitchen and toilet retained their original layouts but were upgraded through design. The kitchen adopts a cave-like arch finished in mortar with vintage shelving, while the toilet is unified with brass fixtures and marble-patterned flooring, achieving a refined and hygienic atmosphere.
By opening the bedroom toward the dining area, light flows throughout, creating a bright and airy home. The result is a balanced space where comfort and functionality harmonize.
We believe good design lies in discovering potential within constraints and shaping it into a lifestyle that feels truly personal. This project stands as a clear expression of that philosophy.
